Today, as we all loaded up in the car for Mass, waiting for my mom to come out, Connor asked, "Why are we going to Sunday Mass if it's not even Sunday?" He, of course, knew it was Sunday but just felt like arguing, I guess.
Devin answered him, jokingly, "No, we're going to Tuesday Mass on Sunday."
Then Connor said again, "But it's not Sunday! I remember. Yesterday was Friday, so that means today is Saturday. It's Saturday, Saturday, Saturday, Saturday..." And on and on like that.
Anyway, after listening to him like that for a minute or so, Devin said, "Well, if it's Saturday that means there are three days until your birthday instead of two."
"Oh!!" Connor said, realizing she was right. "Today is Sunday!! It's Sunday!"
"Nope, you said it was Saturday," Devin said.
"No! It's Sunday, Sunday, Sunday, Sunday..."
