Spring Break Happenings

This semester has gone by so fast! We're already past midterms and before you know it, it'll be finals week! But it has been a great semester. In my literature class, I just finished reading Dante's "Divine Comedy" -- 

"We climbed, he first and I behind, until, / through a small round opening ahead of us / I saw the lovely things the heavens hold, / 

and we came out to see once more the stars."

...that's one of my favorite verses from it. It's so beautiful, every time I read it, it just makes me feel God!

Anyway, I just though I'd give you a small update on everything going on here in Florida. ;)

So this picture here is Aramis with his brothers and me.  From the left it's: Adrian, Jean Carlos, Aramis, then me. During Spring Break, his family invited me to go to the beach and to the movies with them. They are so nice! And slowly, ever-so-slowly, I'm learning a little Spanish.  haha

 And this here is a cake that Aramis and a couple of my other friends made for me on my birthday. Aren't they just the best? (Aramis even did the letters himself!)
