I guess the first thing I need to say is "Happy New Year!" (Even though it's really late.) Here's a picture from the party we went to. :)
Then of course I will tell you about the March for Life in Washington D.C. This was my second year going on the march and Devin's first. Both years have been a great experience for me and Devin also had a great experience, too. We were able to tour the memorials and see so many great places.
We also went to see the Arlington National Cemetery. It is amazing to think that the entire cemetery is filled with veterans who have fought and died for our country. There's a certain reverence and solemnity about the place that fills you with awe, wonder and patriotism for our country.
Then there was the march itself. I can't even describe how many people were there. Even while I was marching, being squished in a multitude of people, I didn't realize how many people there were. The best I have heard it described is, it's like a sea of people, or more like a river, with different currents, all flowing in one direction, and you can't see the beginning and you can't see the end! So many people marching for the sanctity of Life!
