A couple of nights ago, Caleb and Connor were playing ball outside. Caleb suddenly came running in the house crying and holding his foot. My mom went over to him and asked him what was wrong. "I don't know!!" Caleb yelled. We soon figured out that he had gotten stung by a bee. Since Caleb is the one who is allergic to a lot of things, we weren't sure if he would have an allergic reaction to the bee sting. My mom called the doctor to see if we needed to do anything, but Caleb was just fine. (Phew!)
By the next morning, Caleb's foot was completely better. Joy, Caleb, and Connor all had tennis lessons that day, so when they went there, my mom told Caleb he could go out and play since his foot was fine. Caleb ran out to play tennis, but not ten minutes later came running back to my mom crying and holding his mouth.
"What's wrong?!" She thought he had gotten hit in the mouth by a tennis racket.
"I don't know! I don't know!!" That was all Caleb said and my mom realized that he had gotten stung by a bee in the mouth!!
My mom called the doctor again, but luckily, Caleb was still just fine. His whole top lip swelled up. I felt so sorry for him! His lip reminded us of the Veggie Tales video, I Love My Lips. At one point in the video, Larry says, "...and I had to spend the next six weeks in lip rehab with this kid named Oscar who got stung by a bee right on the lip....."
